Jay-Z‘s “Shawn Carter Foundation” black-tie gala will be held the weekend of November 15, 2019, and will feature a blackjack tournament hosted by the Billionaire Rap Mogul.
In fact, according to Page Six, both the gala and tournament will be held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Although there will be a $100,000 buy-in, the casino is reportedly putting up a $500,000 jackpot for the winner, and attendees can also chip in another $40,000 for a package that gets them VIP access for the entire weekend.
The black-tie gala will also include events such as silent and live auctions and a concert by Alicia Keys, described as ” an intimate one-time-only performance to benefit The Shawn Carter Foundation.”
The Shawn Carter Foundation, founded by Jay-Z and his mother Gloria Carter, works to provide scholarships, college prep, and study abroad services to young people facing socio-economic hardships.
