Draya Michele and Orlando Scandrick’s relationship is like The Clapper — they’re constantly on again and off again. But when the two got engaged a few weeks ago, we thought that the two were going to finally make it work for the long haul. Well, according to TMZ, that’s not happening.Â
TMZ reports that Scandrick called off the engagement AND his relationship with Draya — permanently. “I have made the decision to call off the engagement and permanently end the relationship I had with Draya,” he tells them exclusively, “In hindsight, it was a poor decision to propose. I am anxious to move on with my life both personally and professionally.”
Â
There’s no word as to what went wrong. Things seemed to be looking great for the couple of 2 years.Â
Orlando popped the question on June 19th. The news of their engagement came just a month after they publicly announced their break up. Draya told PEOPLE magazine, their break up wasn’t a real break up, just a break.  “I never give permission to move on or anything like that. While he was in Dallas we stayed in contact and talked almost everyday.” She went on to say,  “We were getting ready to take the next step and I believe that with new levels comes new devils. We needed a little time away to realize that we missed each other terribly. I knew I was going to say yes to him whether he asked me now or four months ago. He’s the first man to make me want to be different and be mature.”
Sucks they couldn’t make it work. Permanently though, Orlando? Sheesh!Â
