Kylie Jenner is rising and shining on social media after a clip of her singing to her daughter #Stormi went viral.
Jenner posted a video of her office tour for her company, Kylie Cosmetics, complete with a look at her life behind the scenes on Youtube. At one point during the tour, she tells her fans she is about to enter Stormi’s bedroom. As she opens the door to greet her 1-year-old, she sings, “rise and shine,” while Stormi awakens from her nap.
The two-second clip has since erupted into a viral sensation online, becoming the catalyst for the latest line of memes and gifs. It’s even inspired posts from A-list celebs like #ArianaGrande and #MileyCyrus. Grande ended up posting her own rendition of it on social media.
And now, the line has been made into a song. On Thursday, Jenner shared Stormi’s reaction to the hit. In the post, Stormi can be seen dancing to the tune as it plays on Jenner’s cell phone. “You like it?” Jenner asks Stormi. Stormi replies, “Daddy, sing?” “No, baby, that’s mommy!” Jenner tells her. “Mommy’s singing!” “Daddy sing,” Stormi replies, showing Jenner the phone. “Oh, you want daddy singing?” Kylie jokes. “I’m not good enough?” “Daddy sing,” Stormi persists for her rapper father #TravisScott. Kylie laughs and then agrees to play his music.,
Scott saw the picture and commented heart eyes, saying, “Wild,” which quickly reignited rumors of a reconciliation. In fact, It doesn’t seem like the two are actually calling it quits completely, according to a source. “Kylie and Travis aren’t officially calling it quits on their relationship, but are taking space apart,” a source shared with E! News just weeks ago. “It’s not a firm split. They’ve been fighting again, but have still seen each other within this last month.” The source says Jenner is still getting used to being without Scott, the source explains. “She has good days and bad days. There has been a lot of transition and change, but overall she’s doing well.”
