The hilarious family movie, ’Johnson Family Vacation,’ is set to return to theaters with a sequel.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cedric the Entertainer will return to star in the film, while having production credits along with DeVon Franklin.
Nearly two decades after the events of the original film, Cedric the Entertainer will return as Nate Johnson, the well-meaning patriarch of the Johnson family that began on an ill-fated cross-country road trip. Fox Searchlight will produce the sequel to the 2004 film.
Along with Cedric the Entertainer, DeVon Franklin, and his Franklin Entertainment banner will produce with Eric Rhone via his A Bird and A Bear Entertainment.
