Britney Spears & Iggy Azalea Beefing Over “Pretty Girls”?

Who knew that Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea have been subtly going back and forth at each other since the release of Britney’s “Pretty Girls” track? The two performed the song earlier this year at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards and since then, it’s kind of fizzled out. Iggy threw shots at Spears basically tweeting that it’s not her fault the song bombed, Britney should have promoted it better. “It’s difficult to send a song up the charts without additional promo and tv performances etc. unfortunately i’m just featured. i would have enjoyed performing it alot, i think it got off to a powerful start. but you need content to compete in 2015.” Iggy goes on to say,  “My comment is factual, it applies to any song. I don’t have to suck the woman’s asshole 24/7 to be her friend, do I? bye girls.” 

To be fair, Britney has one thing that Iggy doesn’t — longevity. I don’t think she needs Iggy giving her advice on how to stick around in 2015. Britney proved just that after she threw slight shade at Iggy via Twitter. “Can’t wait to get back to Vegas. So thankful I have shows for the rest of the year to look forward to… #YouWantAPieceOfMe,” she tweeted. Don’t get the tea? Britney is referring to Iggy’s tour being cancelled before it ever got started. Such shade!
