A deadly mass shooting occurred last night during a Halloween party in Orinda, California.
Four were shot dead, and others were wounded after shots rung out at the party, according to CBS News. It was reported to have happened late last night at an Airbnb Mansion.
According to CBS News, Michael Wang, who owns the home, said he rented it through Airbnb for what he believed to be a family reunion for a dozen people. However, when his wife reached out to the renter about noise complaints, the woman maintained there were only 12 people at the party. But, apparently, Wang saw more people on his Ring doorbell camera.
The CHP and other agencies were called to the scene of the incident because of the size of the crowd at the home. Police reported to CBS San Francisco that they were overwhelmed and needed more hands-on deck. However, further details about the victims or the motive remain unclear.
