Megan Thee Stallion is warning her former makeup artist that if he doesn’t stop talking about her, she’s going to sue him.
According to TMZ, Dina LaPolt, the lawyer of the Houston Hottie, sent Akil McCoy a cease and desist letter, claiming McCoy violated the nondisclosure agreement he had with Thee Stallion by mentioning the work they do together.
It all started when the interview Meg did with Vogue dropped. In the video, Megan was questioned about when she learned how to do her makeup, to which she responded, “One day my grandma just bought me hella eyeshadow from like the Dollar Store probably. I was like 12. When she did that, it was over for these b—–s. My mom arched my eyebrows for the first time when I was in ninth grade, and I like took over.” However, the rapper mentioned Akil later on in the video, noting that she liked his work. “I like Akil a lot, and we get into it like every day. ‘Don’t do it like that, don’t put it like that friend,’” Megan said. “He’ll be like, ‘I’m not.’ And he doing whatever the f–k he wanna’ do.”
Meg posted the clip to her Instagram with the caption, “#voguemagazine followed your favorite hot girl around for the day!!! Link in bio! Ps. they caught Johnathan being the charger thief he really is.” But things quickly took a turn for the worse when Akil commented, “By Akilaface.” Megan then said back, “Akilaface and me.” The two continued on in the comments with Megan acknowledging the parts he played in doing her makeup but that she covered the majority of the work. She also called him out for not having texted her about the issue.
Now, as a result, the cease and desist letter is demanding that Akil take down his comment and to refrain from speaking about their personal or professional relationship again or else she would take legal action.
