Back in 2013, Big Sean and Glee star Naya Rivera began dating. In 2014, the couple’s engagement was called off. The two went through a messy, public split with Naya accusing Big Sean of stealing back the Rolex he gave her and Big Sean releasing his smash hit “IDFWU” dedicated to Naya. Naya eventually moved on to get married and have a baby and Big Sean eventually moved on to date singer Ariana Grande. According to Naya though, Grande may have been the cause of the couple’s demise.
In her autobiography “Sorry Not Sorry” Naya says, “We’d been fighting for five straight days while he was traveling, and then on the one day that he was back in LA, he said he didn’t want to see me. Well, a******, I’ve got a key to your house. I walk in, go downstairs, and guess what little girl is sitting cross-legged on the couch listening to music? It rhymes with “Smariana Schmande.””
Big Sean and Ariana went on to date for 8 months. They broke up in April 2015. Big Sean is currently rumored to be dating Jhene Aiko.
Naya goes on to say that she only learned that her engagement was called off via the internet like the rest of us. “I learned that I was no longer getting married from the internet, and at the same time as the rest of the world. Not only were we no longer getting married, but apparently we weren’t even together anymore.”
