Homeless Man Pours Bucket of Hot Diarrhea On Woman in LA

A pleasant evening out with friends near the Hollywood Walk of Fame took a turn for the worst after a woman doused in hot diarrhea.

According to NBC4 Los Angeles, Heidi Van Tassel was getting into her parked car after dinner with friends when a homeless man sprinted across Hollywood Boulevard and suddenly dragged her out of her vehicle.

Once dragged out into the street, the homeless man, later identified as Jere Blessings, poured a bucket of hot feces on Heidi’s head.

Heidi was rushed to Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital, where she was tested for infectious diseases. But as a result of the incident, she now has to retest every three months due to the contact with feces.

“It was diarrhea. Hot liquid. I was soaked, and it was coming off my eyelashes and into my eyes,” Heidi said, adding, ”Paramedics who came to treat me said there was so much of it on me, it looked like the man was saving it up for a month.”

Blessings is described as a “transient with schizophrenia and psychotic disorders,” according to court records. After the incident, he was charged with battery and taken to jail for this crime.

But still, Van Tassel feels Justice has not been served. Security footage from a near by business captured the attack, but upon her request, they refused to release it. Heidi also stated she was told she would be in communication with the LAPD about the investigation and a victim advocate, but she was never contacted, and no one ever responded to her when she attempted to make contact, in addition to a host of other complaints. The largest of those complaints being Blessings’ release back into the community.

“He doesn’t need jail time. He needs mental health care,” said Heidi. “What’s the next thing he’s going to do to somebody? If he would’ve had a knife, for sure, he would’ve stabbed me.”
