There’s three sides to every story and we’ve already heard UCLA’s side. Now we hear what sources close to Diddy have to say in regards to the highly publicized fight he had with a strength and conditioning coach yesterday.
What we know so far is that Diddy was arrested for allegedly assaulting Coach Sal Alosi. If Alosi’s name sounds familiar, he was a strength and conditioning coach for the NY Jets. He was suspended from the NFL in 2010 after he tripped a Miami Dolphins player from the sidelines as they were covering a punt. He’s been with UCLA since 2012.
According to sources, Diddy went to campus to speak to Sal Alosi, believing he had an issue with his son Justin. Apparently Alosi refused to see him and staff told Diddy to leave. Diddy went to Alosi’s office anyway, Alosi threatened to call police in which Diddy pulls out his phone and said he’d call the police for him. At this point Alosi snaps and charges for Diddy and Diddy grabbed the kettlebell in a defense position, not intending to hit Alosi with it. Him not hitting Alosi with the kettlebell is indeed true. UCLA released a statement that no one was seriously hurt and kettlebells are heavy and can do some damage.
Diddy was arrested and charged with 3 counts of assault with a deadly weapon, 1 count of making terrorist threats and 1 count of battery. He was released after posting $50,000 bail hours after the incident.
