When he isn’t slapping around your favorite rapper, Diddy is probably slapping around your football coach. Allegedly.
The music mogul was arrested today for allegedly getting into a fight with his son, Justin’s football coach. One source says an assistant coach was screaming at Justin on the field during a strength and conditioning session. The source says the coach was riding and screaming at Justin intensely and Diddy wasn’t feeling it. One thing you don’t do is mess with a man’s kids.
After practice went to the UCLA athletic facility to have a little chat with the coach. Allegedly Diddy grabbed the coach. Another source says Diddy attempted to call police himself but his phone was taken from him. He was arrested and detained at campus jail. The vicim has been identified as former NY Jets Sal Alosi.
But there’s MORE! Diddy was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. What was the deadly weapon, you ask? Apparently he came after the coach with a kettlebell. The school says that no one was seriously injured and that UCPD continues to investigate. Diddy is expected to be transferred to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Inmate Reception Center later this evening.
Football coach Jim Mora issued the following statement:
“I’m thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation. This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time.”
Considering how much Diddy is worth, I can see this coach attempting to sue.
