An Australian woman who lied on her resume is now looking at jail time.

Veronica Hilda Theriault was convicted of deception, dishonesty, and abuse of public office after she applied for the chief information officer role, which came with a salary of 270,000 Australian dollars.

Theriault worked in a position with South Australia’s Department of Premier and Cabinet for a little over a month.

Theriault submitted a false resume to the department with fake information in relation to her education and previous employment. After her interview, she posed as her own reference check.

In addition to the lies regarding her resume and references, Theriault also used an image of supermodel Kate Upton for her Linkedin profile.

The court was told that this was not her first time using false information to get positions at two companies in 2012 and 2014.

Theriault pleaded guilty to all charges and was sentenced to 25 months with a non-parole period of a year.
