Let It Snow: Walmart Apologizes For Christmas Sweater Where Santa Is Doing Lines of Coke

Let It Snow Sweater

With the lack of snow so far this holiday season, Walmart attempted to give its customers another type of white Christmas. But now, the corporation is apologizing for its adults-only Christmas sweater after customers scoffed at the design.

The sweater showcased Santa with three lines of a white substance, with the phrase “Let It Snow,” shown in large letters at the bottom.

But what makes matters worse is the sweater’s description, which read, “We all know how snow works. It’s white, powdery, and the best snow comes straight from South America. That’s bad news for jolly old St. Nick, who lives far away in the North Pole. That’s why Santa really likes to savor the moment when he gets his hand on some quality, grade A, Colombian snow.”

Along with the inappropriate cocaine sweater, Walmart featured several other provocative holiday sweaters, including one that showcased Father Christmas in compromising situations with his pants being removed while his “chestnuts” roasted in front of a fireplace for example.

However, the sweaters have since been pulled, and a spokesperson released a statement to Global News Canada.

“These sweaters, sold by a third-party seller on Walmart.ca, do not represent Walmart’s values and have no place on our website,” the spokesperson told the local news outlet. “We have removed these products from our marketplace. We apologize for any unintended offense this may have caused,” they concluded.

After going viral on social media, customers began to react with one customer writing, “EXCUSE ME WHAT, WALMART IS ADVERTISING COCAINE ON ITS CHRISTMAS SWEATERS.”
