Ciara Calls For Families To Jam Out Over The Holidays With New Hit

Following the release of her star-studded single ‘Melanin’ featuring LaLa, Lupita Nyongo, City Girls, and Ester Dean, dancing Sensation #Ciara has joined forces with #BlancoBrown on the remix to his hit single ‘#TheGitUp.’

Ciara took to Instagram to share her excitement for the record by posting a clip, calling for others to join her in for a new Holiday challenge. “#TheGitUpRemix is too much fun! Thanks for having me, BlancoBrown . Remix out now! A Town Love. I want to see you and your families jam out to over the Holiday. Aye,” she wrote.

Blanco Brown is an American singer, songwriter, and producer who has produced for Chris Brown and Pitbull, to name a few.

‘The Git Up’ was originally released in May of 2019 and generated a viral dance challenge on the popular app Tik Tok that helped skyrocket the song to success going platinum and charting at 14 on the U.S. Hot 100. The song also hit #1 on the Billboards US Hot Country Songs chart. 

Ciara is no stranger to dance challenges as last year, her fans started a challenge to her hit single ‘Level Up’ which spewed over 100,000 fan & celebrity videos recreating the dance routine. The song ultimately went platinum, and the video garnered over 200 million YouTube videos.

This has been a big year for Ciara, who recently hosted and performed at the 47th annual American Music Awards. The singer will also be performing and hosting the west coast edition Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve for the third year in a row.
