Reality TV is no longer a safe way to find love now that we’ve learned one “Married At First Sight” relationship has turned into nothing short of a horror film.

Last week, the reality star filed a restraining order against her husband Ryan De Nino – whom she met for the first time at the altar while shooting A&E’s social-experiment show in which couples are paired by a team of experts – and now Jessica Castro’s attorney Marc Rapaport tells PEOPLE his client is “terrified for her life.”
The petition alleges “there were two threats by Ryan to kill her. One of those threats was captured on a live microphone on the set while there was a filming of Married at First Sight,” says Rapaport, who confirmed the show offered Castro, 30, a security detail after the taping of the show’s reunion.
According to the New York Post, which obtained a copy of the sealed petition, De Nino, 29, told Castro: “I will break you into f—ing pieces, I will break your dad into pieces. I will make your whole family disappear – and your f—ing dog-ass sister’s boyfriend.”
Sir, what?
