Disney World continues to be a major attraction for the young and young at heart. Next year, the most magical place on Earth will celebrate its 50th anniversary, and the Epcot theme park will be updated and enhanced ahead of next year’s celebration. If it’s been a while since you’ve been to the park, start saving so you can return to experience all of the new changes.
New attractions will include Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which is the first Pixar film-themed ride in the Disney park. Guests will be able to enjoy this larger than life ride complete with walk-in refrigerators and rat shaped vehicles. The ride is a replica of one of the most popular attractions at Disneyland Paris. Additionally, new films are being added to both the Land Pavilion and the World Showcase.
New eateries have been added including, Regal Eagle Smokehouse and Italian themed Via Napoli, Tutto Italia, gelato stands, and bakeries with crepes. The fireworks exhibit that ran for the past 20 years, IlumiNations: Reflections of Earth has been replaced with a new lineup that is sure to wow guests. Epcot’s famous for hosting festivals throughout the year, and no changes are being made so you can plan your trip around any of the famed events like the Food and Wine Festival, International Flower and Garden Festival or the International Festival of the Arts.
