Antonio Brown’s agent Drew Rosenhaus has decided to drop the former Patriots receiver as a client as a result of the troubled athlete’s antics.
In a letter to the NFLPA, Rosenhaus stated that he “would like to work with Brown, but not until he first gets help.”
While the separation has been initiated, according to NBC Sports, no termination of a client-agent relationship is official until a five-day waiting period has elapsed after the letter initiating the separation under NFLPA policy.
Brown’s life has been on a bizarre path ever since the Raiders suspended him for a public dispute with GM Mike Mayock. He was then picked up for a short stint with the Patriots, where he played in only one game. Sexual assault allegations lead to him being released yet again.
Most recently, the troubled athlete has been in the news for an ongoing beef between himself and the mother of his three youngest children, Chelsie Kyriss. In a video posted to Instagram, Brown is heard yelling, “This b—- is broke, with two other kids. That b—- got nothing,” during a domestic dispute between the two.
Soon after the announcement of Rosenhaus dropping Brown, the free agent posted an Instagram photo with the caption, “New agent,” although no official statement has been given.
