YG has been arrested and is currently in custody after cops showed up to his home in the early hours of the morning with a search warrant.
According to TMZ, Law enforcement sources claim L. A. County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the rapper’s San Fernando Valley home around 4 AM, with a search and arrest warrant related to a robbery case.
YG’s SUV was recently connected to a murder case, and the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. claims the rapper’s Escalade was involved in a high-speed chase back in July through L.A. streets, which ended with a vehicle shooting and the death of a 65-year-old man on a bicycle.
The rapper denied being involved in the incident when asked by TMZ over the summer, telling them, “I was nowhere near the scene of this incident and had been in a recording studio all day in Hollywood. I was there until after midnight on the Fourth of July and didn’t learn of these events until after they happened.”
However, it’s unclear at this time if the Friday morning raid is related to that case.
