On Wednesday, Popeyes announced a new, limited-edition clothing line reminiscent of Beyonce’s new Ivy Park collection.
Earlier this month, Beyonce took to social media to promote her new fashion apparel, Ivy Park, a collaboration the megastar made with Adidas. Upon its release, the stores instantly sold out. The unisex sportswear line made Queen Bey the first African-American woman to become sole owner of an athleisure brand.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Even with the success of the launch. The internet made sure to present its comic criticism by comparing Ivy Park’s maroon and orange design to the Popeyes chicken sandwich wrapper. Immediately social media marketing advocate, Popeyes, leaped to the opportunity and contrived the limited-edition, That Look from Popeye’s collection.
The, ‘That Look from Popeyes,’ wardrobe includes 10 items inspired by the franchise’s work uniform. All proceeds from the release go to the Popeye’s Foundation.
This isn’t Popeyes first fashion line either. In December, the chicken chain’s ‘Ugly Christmas Sweater’ sold out in less than 14 hours, according to CNBC.
Supplies are available while they last.
