Baller Alert TV caught up with Dr. Oz in Miami during Super Bowl weekend.

The Fox network star took a minute to speak to Baller Alert’s Adam Glyn to talk about everything from the recent controversy surrounding the coronavirus, Dog the Bounty Hunter’s new proposal, to the new Netflix documentary on the late NFL star, Aaron Hernandez, who committed suicide in prison after being convicted of murdering the boyfriend of his fiancée’s sister.

He went on to say that the disease has a 2% mortality rate, causing more deaths than the influenza virus. He reports the virus is so concerning because it is so contagious but it is not strong enough to become a pandemic.

“My expert friends, who again, are specialists in the area and my own personal instinct is, it’s not deadly enough to be devastating to humanity… [however] in our lifetime, we will have a massive viral infection. If we don’t prepare appropriately we could be wiped out. So although this is not that… it’s time for us to put some money into realizing… we need to get more aggressive on how we quickly quarantine and identify the viruses when they start, that way, we’ll stay ahead of them.”

As far as precaution goes, the doctor advised to simply wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.

Dr. Oz also spoke to Baller Alert on his sit-down with Jonathan Hernandez, the older brother of former patriots tight-end, Aaron Hernandez. Jonathan Hernandez appeared on ‘The Dr. Oz Show’, Thursday and spoke about his book “The Truth About Aaron” and his brothers secret homosexual solicitude, after refusing to take part in the Netflix venture.

He alleges on Dr. Oz that Aaron was abused as a child by an older man in the neighborhood, had conflicting sexuality, several head injuries, trouble making decisions and he didn’t believe he murdered anyone.

“I actually, sort of, believe a lot of what his brothers telling me. I think he’s a good man that feels guilty as the older brother that he couldn’t protect his younger sibling, but it’s a lesson to all of us.”

As for Dog the Bounty Hunter, Dr. Oz speaks with the reality TV star on the proposal of his late wife’s best friend on ‘The Dr. Oz Show’ this Monday (February 3).
