Super Bowl LV is approaching with the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers going head to head for the Championship. Although that’s the most important aspect of the Super Bowl, everyone knows most fans (and non-fans) tune in to the game once the halftime show begins, and this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show will feature The Weeknd. To prepare for tonight’s show, let’s take a look at the Top Five best Super Bowl halftime shows of all time.
Michael Jackson (1993)
The King of Pop brought out the works for this performance, which changed Super Bowl halftime shows FOREVER. Jackson stood still for a minute in half before opening with “Jam,” and he continued with other favorites. Closing the show with “Heal the World” dedicated to children around the world.

Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake (2004)
One of the most memorable shows due to Janet’s “wardrobe malfunction.” However, the entire show was great, with Janet Jackson’s comeback and the beginning of Justin Timberlake’s solo career.
Prince (2007)
Prince did Super Bowl only the way he can, playing in the rain. A beautiful rendition of “Purple Rain,” which never gets old. R.I.P. to the Prince.

Madonna ft. Nicki Minaj, M.I.A., CeeLo Green, LMFAO (2012)
The Queen of Pop Music kicked off her MDNA tour with her 2012 Super Bowl performance. She introduced the crowd to new songs and performed old favorites.
Coldplay ft. Beyonce and Bruno Mars (2016)
Did we save the best for last? Of course. Beyoncé and Bruno Mars crashed the Pepsi Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show, Bey with her dancers coming through with “Formation” and Bruno Mars took the stage with “Uptown Funk.” This show also paid tribute to the past halftime shows.
