Over the weekend, Hollywood’s biggest celebrities hit the Sunshine State to celebrate the biggest night in sports.
The 54th annual Super Bowl kicked off in Miami on Sunday, but just before the big event Cardi B sat down with Baller Alert to spill the tea about her forthcoming album. In fact, according to the superstar, her sophomore album is coming together nicely, as she revealed she’s only missing a few club bangers.
“I have my cool, calm, and collective songs, just missing a couple of more club hits,” Cardi said, adding, “we’re getting there.”
But when it comes to the album’s release date, the rapper revealed that it’s tough to put a date on a project because it’s all about a certain feeling. “I can never put a date on it, cause it’s like when you feel like you got those songs, that’s when it’s gonna come out. So it’s like I cannot put a date on my ears. When I feel like I have it, that’s it.”
Cardi also opened up about her beautiful baby girl, sharing her favorite moments of the Baller Baby favorite, Kulture.
“I swear to God, as soon as she hears ‘Clout,’ that’s when she makes me gush because she just gets so excited. It’s like really her favorite song, and it’s like you know, us, the parents, me and Offset,” she explained, “it’s the cutest thing.”
As the interview continued, the raptress shared a few tips on how to snag and bag a baller and provided a word of advice for upcoming artists. “Always get a lawyer,” she said. “No matter what you do, always get a lawyer. I don’t care if you broke, before you invest in anything, make sure you invest in a lawyer.”
