Last year, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine received  a lighter prison sentence of only two years, after telling on members of the ‘Nine Trey Gangsters.’

One of those members was 6ix9ine’s former manager, Kifano’ Shotti’ Jordan, who was sentenced to 15 years in prison, due in part to the rapper’s testimony.

In a recent phone interview, Jordan broke his silence on the rapper and gave his take on the situation.

“I’m in here with most of my friends,” Jordan told Black Mogul, a popular YouTube account. “These dudes ain’t have anything to do with what happened. We didn’t come in here cause of this Danny guy. We came in here cause a quote-unquote gangsta didn’t want to do the time for his shit. And the kid told. I’m not mad at him. I’m not mad at him.”

Jordan, who revealed he personally started ‘Tr3yway,’ also explained that because of his judgment of 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, he didn’t expect him to handle the situation how he did.

“You don’t judge a person off what the world says,” Jordan continued. “I judged him by his character. I loved him. Maybe my love for him blinded me. I also never thought we would be in a situation like this.”

Jordan continued by saying 6ix9ine’s decision to “snitch” caused people to be taken away from their families. “Even with that being said, I never thought he’d be involved with other people, make falsehoods, and get people taken away from their families. Like my man Ish, Ish literally was just a driver sometimes, but he never carried a gun, never robbed nobody. He’s doing five years. They said Melly sold drugs, Melly never sold no drugs. Everybody knows that.”

When asked if he could tell 6ix9ine wasn’t “built like that,” Jordan responded, “It’s never obvious.”
