For the last few weeks, Da Baby has made headlines for more than his music. With a slew of legal battles, a couple of violent altercations, and other incidents, it seems the rapper just can’t catch a break.
But now, it appears things have just gone from bad to worse, as his baby’s mother has come forward with more damning allegations.
“This what your favorite rapping (sic) hiding,” Meme wrote in her stories, as she exposed a text conversation of what appeared to be Da Baby and another woman. “Don’t fall for the cap. Another child is on the way, and it ain’t me.”
As she continued, she shared a video of a conversation with the rapper, in which she accused him of trying to police her. “Your favorite rapper is the number 1 capper. Don’t believe half of what social media is showing you.”
Although she later deleted the damning posts, she continued to express her frustrations, saying, “I’ve been asking God to show me the people who aren’t for me, and he did just that.”
“I am a firm believer, and I know that it’s going to get greater later,” MeMe added. “Money is power. Know it; understand it. And speaking the truth does not mean I am not a God-fearing woman, this is why we are here today. Never be afraid to speak about what is right and what’s wrong. Who I am as a woman will always shine through any bullshit. I know who I am, some people should do some soul searching and figure out who they are.”
“Another child was the least of my worries, but a convicted spirit is what the real issue is,” she concluded. “Water and oil don’t mix.”
In response to the drama, Da Baby shared a few inspirational words, saying, “It’s far from over, do not let yourself get comfortable. Do not let yourself lose focus. Take a minute to think about what it took to get here and understand that if there are plans to go further then even more gotta get done. If it’s something that’s getting in the way of your growth identify what that is and fix it. LEt’s go bigger.”
As he continued, he said, “When your love, loyalty, and selflessness gets taken for granted and everything you have to offer still ain’t enough. You better understand that’s God talking. Accept what is, make the adjustments, and deal with everything that come with it.”
