Baller Alert caught up with Eva Marcille as she shared some advice for people who want to tap into their potential at the ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards Red Carpet.
Eva opened up about being raised in a two-parent household, and how she was given a religious and spiritual background, so she had a level of faith. Still, she also had ambition and parents to support and back her up.
When asked about how people can tap into their own potential, she responded, “You have to figure out what it is that you’re called to do in life, and it’s one thing to exist but with recent tragedies out there reminding us that life isn’t promised, and to just exist just to pay your mortgage or your rent or your car note for what? Like you have to get a fulfillment in your day, and I think that’s the biggest question. If your job doesn’t fulfill you somewhere else besides your bank account, then you might want to do something else”.
