Kelvin Harrison Jr

Baller Alert caught up with actor Kelvin Harrison Jr. on the red carpet of “The Photograph” movie, and when asked about keywords on how to keep a successful relationship, he had some very insightful advice.

His first key words were “Communication, Self-worth, patience, time, and gifts.”

Kelvin talks about how actor and rapper Lakeith Stanfield was an inspiration to him by showing him that you can get ahead in the acting industry as a black man while also being true to yourself. He then describes his character in “The Photograph” as an “awkward and eager intern, but he’s still cool.”

Kelvin was also asked about how he approached his relationship, being that his most recent role is in a movie about love, and he reveals that his girlfriend approached him instead of him actually approaching her. “We met on Instagram. I was in the DMs and she responded. We started playing cup pong, and I lost, so I stopped texting back because I lost, and then she texted a month later and was like “Should I have let you win?”, and I was like alright I like this girl so here we go.” He then jokes and tells the ladies that if you want a guy to go ahead and approach them and play a game.
