Terror group ISIS is putting a halt on operations as its leaders tell extremists not to travel to Europe amid outbreaks.
In documents obtained by Homeland Security Today, ISIS’s latest al-Naba newsletter,l reveals instructions for extremists to not travel to Europe, whether they feel healthy or not, Complex reports.⠀
Furthermore, extremists that feel sick are required to refrain from leaving and are to return home.
“[The] healthy should not enter the land of the epidemic, and the afflicted should not exit from it,” the newsletter demands.
Following the virus amid its spread in Wuhan, China, back in February, the newsletter warned that the coronavirus is a plague sent from God.
“Illnesses do not strike by themselves but by the command and decree of God,” the newsletter insists, explaining that God is displeased with his people.
The newsletter also encouraged extremists to wash their hands consistently and to cover their mouths when doing any of the following: yawning, coughing, and sneezing.
The virus is currently nearing over 200,000 confirmed cases worldwide, with almost 8,000 deaths.
