Many of us are staying inside and taking the necessary precautions to prevent ourselves from getting coronavirus.
Well, according to New Jersey’s top health official, Judith Persichilli, everyone is going to get the virus, including her. “I’m definitely going to get it. We all are,” Persichilli tells NJ.com. “I’m just waiting.”
The 71-year-old is a part of the age group for which the virus is the deadliest. Persichilli believes the odds are on her side and that if she were to contract the virus, it would be very mild.
Since the beginning of the outbreak of the virus, there has been at least 284,724 infections and 11,842 deaths from the virus worldwide. Cases have now been reported in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
