LeBron James has been slapped with a lawsuit for posting a picture of himself, becoming the latest celebrity to be sued over a similar claim. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

According to TMZ, a photographer by the name of Steven Mitchell claims that James stole his picture, cropped it, and posted the picture on social media without getting permission to do so. He is suing James for copyright infringement as a result of this matter.

Mitchell allegedly took the epic photo back in Dec. 13, 2019, which captured King James dunking on Meyers Leonard during a Lakers vs. Heat game in Miami at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Mitchell said that LeBron reposted the picture shortly after the game and posted it on his Instagram and Facebook pages without Mitchell’s consent. James captioned the photo “What.A.Time.To.Be.Alive, and I’m LIVING with Pure Joy! Thank you ?”.

According to documents obtained by TMZ Sports, the photographer is looking to collect $150,000 for each time LeBron used the photo. He’s also reportedly asking for any money LeBron made off the photo.
