Facebook Watch Orders Lifestyle Series Starring Karrueche Tran; Picks Up Malika And Khadijah Haqq’s ‘Side By Side’ For Another Season

Facebook Watch has picked up Malika and Khadijah’s show Side by Side for another season and will be ordering an entirely new show starring Karrueche Tran.

The new developments come as part of the social media giant’s relationship with lifestyle production company Kin. The brand, which began as a multi-channel network on YouTube, will now be producing a new show called Just a Sip with Tran. There are no details on how long the show will be, but Deadline reports that it will be feature Trans’s career journey and share elements about her Black American and Vietnamese upbringing. Fans can also look forward to hearing Tran’s tips on food, fashion, and fitness.

Meanwhile, Facebook will be bringing the hit show Side by Side back after receiving nearly half a million views per episode in its first season. The program, which follows the lives of Khadijah and Malika, is set to return in May.

Kin also has a few other shows in production. The network is creating a show starring The Bachelor’s Kaitlyn Bristowe called Nine to Wine. The show will air on Facebook Watch, Youtube, and IGTV and will detail Bristowe’s climb to being a successful self-made entrepreneur as she balances her love life and her many hobbies.
