Drake’s new single “Toosie Slide” has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, pushing The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” out of the top spot.
Drake’s newest single makes him the first male artist to have three singles debut at number one on the prestigious chart.
With three consecutive singles debuting at number one, Drake is officially tied with Mariah Carey, who is the only other musician to reach the feat.⠀⠀
In 2018, Drake surpassed The Beatles’ 54-year-old record of having five singles on Billboard’s Top 10 with the release of his “Scorpion” album, which posted seven simultaneous singles on the chart.
Drake set another record when his ”Care Package” album landed number one on Billboard’s 200 list, giving him nine number one albums.
