Rapper YNW Melly is still suffering from Coronavirus while awaiting trial for murder in Broward County Jail.
According to TMZ, sources close to the situation behind bars claim Melly continues to have breathing difficulties, body aches and headaches while in Broward County Jail where he is awaiting trial for double murder.
The sources told TMZ Melly has been sick and suffering with a high temperature and chills, particularly at night and is being treated with Gatorade and Tylenol to combat the virus’ effects.
He was isolated from his cell mate who originally tested positive for COVID-19 but is not being checked on hourly by jail staff as they should.
Melly’s request for release was denied. The rapper wanted to be able to get COVID-19 treatment on his own, but the judge in his case said he must request special medical treatment from the Broward Sheriff’s Office if needed.
