Jennifer Lopez is being sued for $150,000 for posting a photographer’s work without crediting or paying him.
In court documents obtained by The Blast, photographer Steve Sands is suing both JLo and her production company, Nuyorican Productions, for copyright infringement.
Sands says he snapped a photo of JLo while she was out in public, then she posted it on Instagram to “promote her brand.”
“Defendants did not license the Photograph from Plaintiff for its Website, nor did Defendants have the Plaintiff’s permission or consent to publish the Photograph on its Website,” the suit said. Sands is seeking $150,000 in damages.
This isn’t JLo’s first time being sued for posting professional pics of herself without permission. In January, she settled a lawsuit for $150k with Splash News after the agency accused her of posting an unlicensed pic of her and A-Rod.

I mean how stupid is it that someone can take my pictures without permission or paying and it’s ok but if I post my own picture it’s wrong? He clearly said he snapped a picture of her in public meaning he didn’t ask but yet he about to get paid on some real bum shit
You are clearly just as stupid as Jennifer! In public is just that meaning he didn’t need her permission. Its the law, read it sweets!
Jennifer knows this, these entertainers are simply thirsty. Really thirsty.
