Since its launch in late 2019, Disney Plus has been consistently providing content that makes us reminisce about our younger days as Disney fanatics.
Now, many Star Fans fans will be pleased to know there is a female-centric series in the works headed right to Disney Plus, according to Variety.
Leslye Headland is the creator, writer, and showrunner of the upcoming series and is known for being co-creator, showrunner and executive producer of Netflix’s hit show, Russian Doll, as well.
While no details have been released regarding the plot, sources have revealed exclusively to Variety that the series will take place in a different part of the Star Wars timeline that fans are used to seeing in other projects.
It’s unclear when the series will hit the streaming platform, especially since production is likely on halt indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic; however, the show is currently staffing.
