Rihanna’s father’s recent claims that she sent him a ventilator after he tested positive for COVID-19 are now under scrutiny.
Rih’s father, Ronald Fenty, made headlines after he told The Sun that he contracted #coronavirus and feared for his life. He added that he and Rih spoke to one another “daily” and that the 32-year-old songstress sent him a ventilator to help with recovery, according to the publication.
“My daughter Robyn was checking in on me every day,’ he told The Sun. “I thought I was going to die to be honest. I have to say, ‘I love you so much, Robyn.’ She did so much for me. I appreciate everything she has done.”
However, Fenty’s story fell apart after sources close to Rih said none of it is true. When the reports got back to Rih, insiders told Page Six that the singer had no clue about the diagnosis and wasn’t happy about his claims. “He doesn’t need a ventilator, and she didn’t send him one,” said the source.
Whether Fenty, 66, actually has COVID-19 or not has yet to be confirmed. In the meantime, Rih has been spending most of her time donating money to Coronavirus relief funds.
