DNA has finally proven that Future indeed fathered a 1-year-old girl with Eliza Reign. The news of the paternity comes amid an ongoing battle between the two in court.
According to The Blast, the rapper was ordered by a Florida court to take a DNA test to determine if he was the father of his alleged daughter (at the time) Reign. But according to Eliza, he avoided providing his DNA to the authorized personnel.
In their court battle, Eliza Reign asked the court to establish paternity, custody, and child support for her daughter Reign. According to Blast, it is alleged that Eliza is seeking $53,000 a month in child support from Future based on his current income.
In response to Reign’s suit, Future sought a gag order against the model after he revealed to the courts that she was publicly tarnishing his name by discussing their past relations. In the court documents, the rapper admitted that he and Eliza had a romantic relationship for two years. The judge would deny his attempted order.
But now, the legal battle has reached new heights amid the DNA results. Future has yet to respond publicly to the news that he is the father of 1-year-old Reign. But the rapper has released a few tweets since the news broke of him being a new father, again, as Reign shared photos of her daughter, who has already been given Future’s last name.
