Netflix Drops Trailer For Upcoming Docuseries ‘Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich’

Y’all know Netflix is KING when it comes to original content, and after Jeffrey Epstein’s mysterious suicide, many believed the truth died with him. But did it? The trailer for the docuseries set to premiere later this month, promises to reveal the truth behind the money, lies, and conspiracy.

Netflix released the trailer for Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich, based on the 2016 book ‘Filthy Rich: The Billionaire’s Sex Scandal – The Shocking True Story of Jeffrey Epstein,’ co-written by James Patterson. The streaming giant revealed their plans to move forward on the upcoming series last summer, prior to the financier’s death in August 2019.

The trailer gives a glimpse into how Epstein went from a so-called “Gatsby-like” figure in the banking and finance industries to a convicted sex trafficker. It features testimonies from some of his survivors, who say that although Epstein is dead; he “had help,” and they hope through the doc’s release, that those people can be held accountable. “You took our freedom, and now we’re gonna take yours,” one of the women promises.

The project was directed by Lisa Bryant and executive produced by James Patterson. It’s set to premiere on Netflix on May 27.
