In an exclusive TMZ report, Fetty Wap’s estranged wife is blowing the lid off their divorce, alleging the rapper was an alcohol and drug abuser who cheated and beat her, but Fetty begs to differ.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, Leandra Gonzalez claims Fetty, who is legally known as Willie Maxwell, beat her face to a pulpless than a month after getting married on August 3, 2019. Leandra alleges an argument with Fetty turned physical, and he closed fist punched her leaving her with a painful black eye.
On top of the physical abuse, Leandra claims Fetty had a substance abuse problem throughout their short duration of the marriage, which severely strained their relationship and that he had extra-marital affairs with several women.
On New Year’s Eve, she claims the rapper traveled to the Bahamas with a woman he was having an ongoing affair with, and a month before that tattooed the name of one of his mistresses on his wrist, reports TMZ.
Fetty denies all claims. He said he was not abusive in any form towards Leandra and does not abuse alcohol or weed. As for the trip to the Bahamas, that never happened or the tattoo.
According to The Blast, this isn’t the first time the rapper has been accused of a brutal assault. Fetty was sued by a Los Angeles woman who claimed he attacked her during a house party. A partial video of the incident was released online but showed Fetty swinging and knocking the woman’s cell phone out of her hand while she argues with him about the altercation.
The case and divorce are ongoing.
