Damon Dash stopped by Larry King Now where he discussed all of the issues he’s been having as of late. The music mogul tells Larry King that he’s currently got a warrant for his arrest, though he’s given his son’s mother (not Rachel Roy) over $100,000 for a house. Sidenote: This confused me, considering Rachel Roy is the one allegedly asking for $350,000 in back child support. He didn’t specify what he’s done for her, just what he did for Boogie’s mother. In the interview he says that he only owes $23,000. Again, confusion. Maybe he owes both mothers? Dame, please explain!
Dame also reluctantly talks about his relationship with Jay-Z. “I usually don’t talk about him because of this,” Dame says, “but there’s been people that he does business with that are against my honor code. So because of that, where I’m from, I sort of have to keep a distance. And because of the way the IRS is on me, and because Bigs is in jail, and because the way my friend Irv Gotti got accused and harassed of money laundering when I know he didn’t, because of all of that (and we were guys that were all in the street at one time), guys like me, we just stay away from that.”
