People throughout the country continue to protest to showcase their support for the Black Lives Matter movement.

However, one Georgia State trooper is going viral for his response when asked by protestors to take a knee to show solidarity.

In a video clip making its rounds on the internet, O’Neal Saddler can be seen defending his decision refusing to take a knee at the request of protestors, because he only kneels for God.

When one protestor accused him of not showing respect, Saddler responded by informing the crowd that he wasn’t even supposed to be there and that he canceled a weekend trip with his wife to make sure the protestors were safe.

“I was supposed to be out of town this weekend with my wife. I took off today- this weekend, but I’m out here to make sure ya’ll safe. So Don’t go there with respect,” Saddler stated.

He continued, revealing he only kneels for one person.

“I have much respect, but I only kneel for one person,” Saddler added.

When someone in the crowd asked, “And that’s God,” Saddler confirmed with a head-nod by repeating, “God,” before he turned around and walked off.
