Virgil Abloh revealed the cover artwork for Pop Smoke’s posthumous debut album, Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, and fans were not happy with the lazy photoshop job.

Pop’s fan’s blasted the artwork, calling Abloh lazy, accusing him of using the first photo that pops up on Google, and putting no time whatsoever into creating the cover.

“I know middle schoolers with photoshop that can make a better album cover than Virgil,” one user said.

“Virgil put zero effort into that album cover. He literally used the first photo that comes up when you search Pop Smoke’s name on Google,” another added.

“Virgil really couldn’t of spent more than 5 minutes on that,” a twitter user quipped.

Some fans even went as far as creating a petition to get Virgil to put more effort into the art. In fact, one Change.org petition that was created last night now has over 19,000 signatures calling for change.

“Virgil deadass was wild lazy with Pop Smoke’s Album cover, and he needs to fix it,” the petition’s description read.

But now, after widespread backlash, it appears that Pop’s label is listening to his fans. Steven Victor, of the label Victor Victor, took to Twitter to let the fans know that they have been heard, and the cover art will be changed.

“Pop would listen to his fans,” he said.

50 Cent also weighed in on the controversy, saying, “Hey Virgil, we need new album art, they ain’t going for this bullshit. Love ya work, let’s get to it. Steven, I told you this shit was eww let’s get it right! #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi”

Pop Smoke was killed back in February after being shot during a home invasion.
