A teen with a wild imagination and talent broke the internet with his visionary TikTok video that went viral on Twitter.
Julian Bass tweeted a 20-second video of himself as his favorite superheroes from Star Wars, Spider-Man, and Ben10. In the caption, he called on his followers to “retweet this enough times that Disney calls.”
Using Harry Styles’ hit “Watermelon Sugar” as a background track, the video showed Bass swinging a lightsaber, channeling the Ben10 watch and slinging spiderwebs across the room while dressed as Spider-Man.
Bass incorporated an impressive use of special effects and editing into his video, capturing nearly 1 million likes and over a half-million retweets on Twitter.
With Twitter’s help, the young teen met his goal by getting a response from the Executive Chairman of Disney, Bob Iger.
“The world’s gonna know your name!!!” Iger tweeted.
Bass excitedly responded to Iger requesting a time to talk, but the opportunities did not stop there. The clip also caught the attention of Sony, who replied with mind-blow emojis, according to People.
Suicide Squad director James Gunn reacted to the video as well, tweeting a worshipping hands emoji. Actor Zach Braff replied to Gunn, saying, “Hire this man, Gunn!”
Fans are now calling for Bass to be cast in a new live-action version of Spider-Man.
