Kim Kardashian Reportedly “Upset” With Kanye West Over His Recent Abortion Rant

On Sunday, Kanye West held his first campaign rally in South Carolina.

Although the rally didn’t help him get on the ballot in the Palmetto State, as he missed Monday’s deadline by 10,000 signatures, it did help promote the ‘Ye brand, as he made headlines over yet-another rant.

During the rally, West shared a few plans for his would-be presidency, discussing everything from Harriet Tubman and freedom to marijuana and abortion.

While many of his comments rubbed his audience the wrong way, his personal admission left his wife, Kim Kardashian, “upset.”

When speaking about abortions, West became emotional as he opened up about the fact that he and his wife discussed the procedure prior to the birth of their first child, North.

”I was having the rapper’s lifestyle,” West said. “I was sitting up in Paris, and I had my leather pants on….and I had my laptop up, and I got all of my creative ideas…and the screen went black and white, and God said, ‘if you fuck with my vision I’m going to fuck with yours.'”

And I called my wife, and she said, we’re gonna have this baby. I said we’re gonna have this child. So even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into the world when I didn’t want to. She stood up, and she protected that child.”

As he continued, he broke down in tears, likening the situation to that of his mother and father. “My dad wanted to abort me. My mom saved my life.”

”I almost killed my daughter,” he cried. “I almost killed my daughter.”

But now, just one day after West’s campaign, a source close to West’s wife says that she is “upset” about his comments, and his friends and family are very much “worried about him.”

”Kanye isn’t in a good place and isn’t listening to anyone trying to talk him into getting help. Kim is upset with Kanye for his rants yesterday, especially talking about the possibility of having an abortion and not giving birth to North,” the source told ET. “She knows this is something North will see when she gets older, and that’s heartbreaking.”

”At the end of the day, people close to Kanye want him to end this presidential run now before he does more damage to himself, his brand, and the family,” the source added.

Although Kim has supported ‘Ye through his many rants and his most recent run for president, a source says the family is still very concerned.

”Kanye’s family will always support him in his endeavors, but they also worry for him. Kanye has a tendency to overwork himself physically, emotionally, and mentally and not take time to rest and reset,” the source said. “The family is supportive of Kanye’s plan to run for president, but they don’t agree with his recent Forbes interview.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
