A North Carolina man, who won $10 million from a scratch-off ticket in 2017, has been charged with the murder of a 23-year-old woman, the NY Post reported.
Michael Todd Hill, 52, of Leland, was arrested Tuesday after a housekeeper discovered Keonna Graham’s lifeless body inside his hotel suite.
According to a local NBC associate, Hill, who was seen alone during his stay at the hotel, checked in on Sunday and checked out on Monday.
The housekeeper found Graham’s body when she went to clean the suite after Hill checked out.
Graham’s family said they are devastated by the passing of their loved one.
”We are hurting,” Graham’s cousin, Antionette Lee, said. “We are in pain. Our family is devastated.”
The victim was remembered as a generous and adventurous woman.
Graham was a correctional officer at a prison in Burgaw, North Carolina. She also worked with mentally disabled people at a rehabilitation center.
Authorities have not released further information about Graham’s initial cause of death.
