Keshia Knight Pulliam Accuses Ed Hartwell of Dragging Out $32,000 Back Child Support Case; Hartwell Says She Did Not Properly Serve The Papers

Keshia Knight Pulliam and her ex-husband Ed Hartwell have maintained headlines for their public, grueling child support battle regarding their three-year-old daughter.

The two former lovers divorced after only six months of marriage in 2016, both admitting that their marriage was “irretrievably broken.”

Following the divorce, Pulliam took her ex to court for child support, where the judge ordered Hartwell to pay $3,007 a month.

In April, Bossip reported that The Cosby Show actress informed the judge that Hartwell had been paying less than half of the amount of the agreed amount creating a child support debt of nearly $32,000.

According to a new report from Bossip, the actress is begging a Georgia Family Court judge not to allow her former partner to prolong the child support case against him.

The former NFL player recently requested to have more time to respond to Pulliam’s contempt case, which accuses him of avoiding child support payments.

Hartwell claimed that Pulliam did not adequately serve the court papers to him. He said she served his 13-year-old son with the documents instead of him, adding that his child did not immediately inform him.

The former Baltimore Ravens linebacker also assigned a new attorney on his case and requested more time for his defense team to respond to Pulliam’s claims.

On the other hand, Pulliam refuted Hartwell’s statement, arguing that her ex had more than enough time to respond to her case.

In the newly filed court papers obtained by the gossip site, the mother complained that additional delays would cause her financial hardship.

As of now, the judge has not made a ruling on the case. Both parties will appear in court next month.
