How does a star athlete top the 1,210 receiving yards, 76 receptions and 6 touchdowns from the previous season? Either go off in the next season or make a few boss moves.( I’d prefer if this player does both). It looks like the off season is shaping up just well for the Houston Texans’ Wide Receiver , DeAndre Hopkins. Tuesday afternoon, Hopkins took to his Instagram account to announce his role in designing caps for New Era. Hopkins dropped two designs. One being a light teal color with “H-Tine” ( paying homage to the southern accent) in navy lettering with the bull (Texans logo in the back); the other encompassing the Texans’ official colors (Battle Red, Steel Blue, and Liberty White) with the “Somos Texans” hugging the Texans logo with Hopkins’ number (10) in the back. Add this to the Pepsi shoot Hopkins did recently and Mr. Nuk is keeping busy with expanding his brand. He is also in great company as his teammate Kareem Jackson released his design with New Era last year and of course we all loved Marshawn Lynch of the Seahawks Beastmode design. Although Hopkins may have joked about being a stylist, I would like see him dabble in fashion. I’m all about brand expansion.
