PartyNextDoor Says ‘No Selfies’ After Baller Alert Groupie Tale + Alleged “Groupie” Speaks

Back in September singer and OVO affiliate, PartyNextDoor made his Baller Alert debut as part of a Baller Mail/Groupie Tale. The Tale wasn’t completely about him, however. It was about a girl named Hazel, who was rumored to be his girlfriend and supposedly had a sex tape with a NY Jets Baller. Included in the Baller Mail were pretty suggestive photos of Hazel and Party (Read The Baller Mail Here).

In a recent interview with FADER Magazine, he speaks of a ‘No Selfie’ rule he’s had to implement due to the photos that made Baller Alert. The article reads: “When a group of petite girls asks to take a selfie with Party, he politely explains his no-selfie rule, instituted after some photos taken with a girl from Miami landed him on the gossip site Baller Alert, in a blog post detailing a fabricated relationship.”

As all Baller Mails do, the story died down days after it was posted, but since Party brought it back up in his FADER interview, Hazel has come forward to issue a statement of their own. Read below: 

“In reference to your PartyNextDoor post, this is how it all started. It was never a Groupie situation. Even though the situation is almost a year old it has been brought back to the attention of the public so let’s finally clear this all up! The stories are bothersome and just flat out lies. I was not just taking a picture with an artist or being a groupie when the first pics were leaked to Baller Alert. I posted them on my IG because we were genuine friends hanging out and I’m a fan of his talent first and foremost. Nothing more nothing less! I’m not writing this to bash him or put anyone out for lying but I will say this, the feeling was mutual between us. I reached out based on music, he reached back on a personal note. We met and became friends. As friends other things were discussed also, music, creativity, life, etc.. but the details of that will remain between he and I. I don’t know why he would downplay things because they were already minimal! Maybe he has a home situation he wants to protect but it was never in jeopardy (to begin with). Nothing serious with he and I but there was definitely something and I don’t mean groupie things either. There’s more I could share proof-wise but there is no purpose except to clear my name on being a random groupie that posted a pic of him to run with.

We met before that and had been cool a while! I’ve worked with many artists and posted them also with no problems or fabrications. Although I am an entertainer in my own right, I am also a licensed nurse and currently still in school to broaden my education. No Groupie mess here. Just like to clear all that up. This isn’t me speaking from a bitter place but a place of frustration and confusion. I just want to be left out of this and finally kill the rumors and lies!”

To be fair, those pics did not look like a fan and an artist randomly taking selfies. Party needs to quit! I definitely agree with Hazel, that he shouldn’t try to downplay what anyone with eyes could see. But, I also understand his ‘No Selfie’ rule too, because things CAN be misconstrued. Not in this case, but they can.
