Kanye West is at odds with the Wisconsin Democratic Party, accusing them of spying on his presidential campaign.
Yeezy’s claim follows a complaint in Wisconsin that asks officials to block the rapper from getting on the presidential ballot. The state claims that Ye submitted fake signatures and failed to get them in on time, an accusation that he is sure the WI Democratic Party conjured up. Last week, he filed signatures and paperwork to get his name on the ballot in the state. He only needed 2,000 signatures from registered voters, which his third-party petitioning group, Let The Voters Decide, helped him to obtain.
Additionally, the 43-year-old believes that the Democrats enlisted a private investigator to track his team dedicated to signature-gathering as part of an “organized effort of harassment and intimidation” against his candidacy.
The state’s Elections Commission will now review the complaint and make a recommendation about whether or not West will get a slot on the ballot. The panel is composed of 3 Dems and 3 Republicans.
The odds of him being added to the ballot are slim, considering he has already been removed from the ballot in Illinois, where election officials revealed that more than half of his submitted signatures were invalid.
Things could all be so simple if Kanye would simply throw in the towel, just a thought.
