Police say Kim Kardashian made the job easy for Paris robbers because she posts everything on the internet.

The alleged mastermind behind Kardashian’s 2016 Paris Fashion Week robbery says the reality star was an “easy target.” Aomar Ait Khedache, who is allegedly one of the men who orchestrated the heist, said social media gave him and the other robbers all the information they needed to know. New details about the traumatic event have come to light in new legal documents that were never shared publicly.
The thieves stole $8.5 million in the heist, including the socialite’s $3.5 million engagement ring that she received from her husband Kanye West. “The jewels were shown on the internet, explaining that she did not wear fake jewels,” Ait Khedache said.” The timing of her arrival in France’ was posted,” he said, adding, “you just needed to look at the internet to know everything.” Ait Khedache has committed other robberies and is currently awaiting trial along with the ten other alleged robbers.
The robbers posed as police officers and entered Kardashian’s hotel. They then tied up the reality star and put her in the bathroom as the thieves took her jewels. Some of the items they took were two Cartier diamond bracelets, a Jacob necklace in gold inlaid with diamonds, earrings with diamonds, and a necklace by Loraine Schwarz, Daily Mail reports. While Kardashian was not hurt, she said that she was “badly shaken” and developed a “phobia” following the incident.
Ait Khedache ended up leaving his DNA behind on plastic cuffs that were used to tie up Kardashian; they were also linked to other crimes.
