It looks like there is trouble in paradise for makeup artist Jeffree Star and his basketball star boyfriend, Andre Marhold.
According to reports from Hip magazine, on Wednesday, screenshots surfaced of a comment that Star had left on a photo of Marhold via Instagram. Star claimed that his basketball boyfriend had stolen items from his home and did not respond to any of his texts.
The comment started off with Star Nonchalantly saying, “Hey!” Shortly after, things took a left turn. ”Since you can’t answer the phone right now, can you give me all the stuff back you stole from my house?? What kind of lowlife fucking scum does that? Give it back!!!! If you need a return label, just ask [cry face emojis],” Star wrote.
This is not the first time Star has made headlines; the cosmetic company Morphe cut ties with the Youtuber after the public confronted him and Shane Dawson over their racist and predatory behavior. He later made headlines again after breaking up with his ex-boyfriend of 5 years, Nathan Schwandt, and once more, for his new relationship with Marhold.
Many women have spoken up about Marhold’s new relationship with Star, saying that he might be in the relationship for the money, which influenced Star to tweet that he does not give money to anyone that he is dating.
Star has since deleted all photos of himself and Marhold from his social media accounts and posted a subliminal message to his Instagram story, saying, ”Every time I start trusting someone, God slap the back of my neck with a sandal.”
On October 1, Jeffree Star posted and deleted responses to the robbery claims after an Instagram page, which appeared to be Marhold, threatened to air the YouTuber’s dirty laundry. In videos posted to Instagram and Snapchat, Star claimed that he and his basketball boyfriend had broken up. In a fake black accent, Jeffree said, “This person secretly had no job, no money, not even a bank account, and we’re talking this person is 30-years-plus. So, all these things that I were told were all false, and I was lied to. And I was like, ‘Okay, bye sweetie, it was really good meeting you, thanks.” He added, “Then, all of a sudden, there’s some LV luggage missing,” He then said, “There’s some backpacks missing, and there’s a few sunglasses missing.”
Star said, “it’s all good,” but apparently not. On a backup Instagram account for Marhold (@_amarxiii), he posted that he was going to expose Star unless he removed the videos saying that he was a thief. “Shall I tell the people?” he said after showing a screenshot of Jeffree watching his Insta-Story. “You got an hour to delete them off Snapchat. It’s crazy because I’m a real genuine person, and I really didn’t want it to get to this point.”
In another post, he claimed the Star’s ex-boyfriend Nathan Schwandt, “left because Star fucked his close friend.” He then shared screenshots of his DMs where Star reminded Marhold of their NDA. In more posts, Marhold threatened to expose something he found in Star’s room. “Let’s just say this is going to ruin you,” he said. In less than an hour, all of Star’s posts and photos of the couple were deleted.
Later that night, the backup page addressed Star point-blank, “You miss Nate, but you fucked his friend I don’t understand,” he claimed. “You didn’t even tell your supporters you hit me up, offering all these expensive things for my time. I have proof of what I posted. I have your name on paperwork, your name on pill bottles, etc. we can do this all night.”
This morning, Marhold took to his official account to ask his followers to report the alleged backup account.
